El hecho es que Gonzalo Moliner, presidente del Consejo General del Poder Judicial y presidente del Tribunal Supremo, ahí es nada, una de las máximas autoridades del Estado declaró, en una entrevista en RNE, que a raíz de la dimisión de su predecesor Carlos Divar por gastos peculiares en fines de semana, el CGPJ había aprobado un régimen muy restrictivo de control de gastos que le obligaba a pedir permiso para sus desplazamientos y a «viajar en turista» lo cual ha lamentado porque cree que este hecho “no da buena imagen”. Glupssssssssss; tierra, trágame.
La declaración del insigne jurista no tiene desperdicio. Por una parte supone, pienso que por error, que el cargo le lleva a ser conocido por todos de manera que el común de los ciudadanos de a pie, al verlo identifica a su persona y a los elevados cargos que ostenta. Lo segundo es según parece para él, la imagen de viajar en turista, clase en la que viajan los que aún pueden permitirse el lujo de hacerlo, es una imagen poco digna. Pienso que la metedura de pata es evidente, muy acorde al tonillo de nuestros cargos públicos pero muy insultante para los ciudadanos de este país que van viendo decrecer por días su capacidad adquisitiva.
Don Gonzalo, yo no dudo que el cargo que usted representa exige dignidad y entiendo que, si uno se lo cree mucho y esta bien acostumbrado, note a faltar este reconocimiento social pero convendrá conmigo que, dado el antecedente y sobre todo la situación de sus conciudadanos, hubiera sido mucho mejor aceptar con generosidad la medida e incluso, con mano izquierda, apelar para que este modo de viajar se hiciera extensible a todas las autoridades públicas que viajan a nuestra costa. Siento que se le haya pasado esta oportunidad, es una lástima.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids.
