Si bien la frase ‘vaya tropa’ es harto conocida, la puso de moda el ínclito Rajoy en una de las trifulcas protagonizadas por dos estrellas del firmamento pepero: Esperanza versus Gallardón. Hoy, sin duda, podría aplicarse a la batalla Bárcenas versus responsables del PP que decidieron, al descubrirse el dineral suizo del ex gerente-tesorero, dejarle sin más a su suerte.
Se ha escrito mucho sobre el affaire sobrecitos, y lo que te rondaré morena, pero hoy me fijaré en otro matiz. Dicen que en España hay alrededor de 400.000 políticos de alguna manera profesionales. Es muy probable si sumamos los cargos electos, unos 65.000, y toda la cohorte de enchufetas que viven del erario público por su carnet político.
La verdad es que baratos no son; de ordinario están asimilados a funcionarios aunque han entrado a dedo y escapan a los estándares de retribución propios de la función pública. Muchos de ellos gozan de una curiosa prerrogativa: decidir su propio sueldo sin responder, al menos hasta ahora, a un baremo ni a un dueño que diga no. Otros ocupan plaza de asesores y demás cuya virtualidad también es la de que sus emolumentos son de alto standing.
Si, además de analizar su sueldo, medimos su eficacia, la cosa ya es de escándalo. Electos y enchufetas no necesitan ninguna titulación, ninguna experiencia previa, ni ningún curriculum de prestigio. Les basta con poseer un determinado carnet, ser amigos de un político, más o menos poderoso, ser sumisos y dóciles al protector y estar dispuestos a tragar todo tipo de sapos si vienen del jefe.
Visto el panorama: sueldos altos y capacidad profesional harto baja, se entiende que la frase de Rajoy sea extensible a miles de chupópteros que nos desangran, si además alguien les da sobres de sobresueldo ya ni te cuento. De esta realidad sale la ridícula productividad pública de España y la necesidad imperiosa de que antes de salir de la crisis todos ellos, una vez agradecidos los servicios por ellos tan gustosamente prestados, sean -en un sobre bien lucido- remitidos sin dilación a su casa.
